The Wednesday attack occurs about one week after Gulak, the capital of Madagali, was attacked by the insurgents.
All officers around the brigade have been warned to be on the alert.
“We slept on mountains and other hideouts,” a resident of the attacked village said.
“More soldiers have been swiftly deployed to Gulak and other areas to repel the attack.”
Another group of insurgents steal cattle in nearby village.
There is a three-year old ban on use of motorcycle in parts of Adamawa affected by Boko Haram insurgency.
“We intend to spend a lot more in returning people back to their homes.”
He also confessed to leading other major operations of the Boko Haram.
The army also recovered several items from the terrorists.
