Over 95,000 Nigerian pilgrims were moved to the Mina Valley to officially commence the 2023 hajj on Monday.
He said that the commission had successfully transported all the 95,000 eligible Nigerian pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
The commission has started discussions with relevant Saudi authorities on Hajj and Umrah for early information dissemination.
All states are to work with and exhaust the allocations they have been granted instead of waiting for more.
Saudi Arabia had also in 2020 cancelled Hajj for International pilgrims due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
NAHCON says it will open e-Hajj portal for ease of the registration of intending pilgrims ahead of 2021 exercise.
