There has been a surge in reported cases of police brutality and extortion in Nigeria lately.
The incident happened on Saturday at Umuodu, Okpuno, a community in Awka South Local Government Area of Imo State.
"Call these men to order," a human rights activist said to police authorities in Nigeria.
The incident reportedly happened on 8 July in Oyigbo town, which is 30 kilometres away from Port Harcourt city.
The police reveal the faces and names of the officers for the first time since the incident occurred.
The officers were obviously unaware that their action was being filmed.
