Delta State has witnessed a surge in crimes despite efforts by security agents in the state to battle criminal gangs.

“Two banks and two vehicles were set ablaze by the protesters in Udu," the Delta police spokesperson says.

The police raided a club in Delta State following information that the suspects were there, according to an official.

Police said the gunmen were suspected armed robbers.
