The unions commenced strike on Monday.

The NASU, NAAT, and SSANU say the government failed to honour agreements signed two months ago.
The non-academic staff have declared a strike over the crisis.
The unions said the strike will resume on Monday, December 3.
The unions say they will not accept the proposed sharing formula.
Allocation is lower in percentage term than that of 2017, despite government's pledge to increase funding of universities.
"If we fight consistently we can win important concessions."
The unions also asked the government to implement the agreements reached.

The government addressed the 12 demands outlined by striking workers.
The meeting was earlier scheduled for Monday.
The unions said they did not receive invitation, while government says it has been shifted to Thursday.
"During the strike, there shall be no provision of services, no matter how skeletal,” the unions said.
