Abuja recorded the highest number of road crashes.
The injured were taken to hospitals.
He said that 51 road accidents were recorded in June out of which 13 persons died.

The FRSC advised motorists to take alternative routes to the expressway.
The accidents involved 821 vehicles and 4,616 people.
Over 116 road accidents were recorded while 559 persons sustained various degrees of injuries.
“Drivers should avoid mounting pressure on the tyres through overload," the official said,
The sector commander said also that over 1,143 persons were injured during the period.
"Most of the road crashes are preventable," the road safety boss said.
The accident involved three vehicles.
49,867 Nigerians were involved in road accidents in three years.
