Nigerian singer Innocent “2Baba” Ujah Idibia is 50, and his new bride, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, has shared a public outpouring of love to him.
In a touching Instagram post on Thursday, she celebrated the Afrobeats singer with words that blended admiration, gratitude, and playful teasing about their 20-year age gap.

PREMIUM TIMES reported that the ‘African Queen’ crooner has remained a regular fixture in the media since unveiling Ms Osawaru in January, following his separation from wife Annie Macaulay.
2baba later proposed to Ms Osawaru on Valentine’s Eve, and the couple continued to attract public attention before holding their traditional wedding on 30 July in Abuja.

On Thursday, Ms Osawaru hailed her husband, Innocent, as the “love of my life” and expressed gratitude for the joy he has brought into her world.
“Happy birthday to the love of my life. You are 50. You spaced me with 20 years, and you look younger than I do, how ironic,” she wrote.
Complete life
Ms Osawaru shared how complete her life feels with the legendary musician by her side. She recounted how the past year has been the most fulfilling of her life simply because of the privilege of waking up next to him every morning.
“Innocent Ujah Idibia, my husband, words cannot express the joy you’ve brought into my life. My joy is complete with you in it. This year was the best year of my life, waking up to you every morning is one of the greatest gifts ever, and I thank God for that,” she said.
The proud wife promised to continue cherishing and caring for the Afrobeat icon for the rest of her life.
“Baby, I want to spend daily loving and caring for you for the rest of my life. I love you. Happy birthday, my baby,” Ms Osawaru declared.
Furthermore, the Edo state lawmaker described the musician as a voice that speaks to a generation, affirming that his heart belongs to her. “Your voice speaks to a generation, but your heart clings to me. You are the anthem of love, the melody of hope, the legend who bridges yesterday with tomorrow,” she wrote.

Reflecting on his legacy, Ms Osawaru praised 2Baba’s enduring greatness at 50. She highlighted the singer’s dual role as a music legend and a loving husband.

2Baba, who rose to fame as one of Africa’s biggest music exports, remains celebrated for his timeless hits and deep influence on Afrobeats, especially his hit song, ‘African Queen’.
