Twenty nine brigadier-generals were elevated to major-generals and 95 colonels to brigadier-generals.
Twenty one senior officers were deployed.
Kingsley Agomo, the former Zonal Commanding Officer of Zone 7, Abuja, was moved to Zone 6, Port Harcourt.
About 332 Superintendents of Customs and 373 Deputy Superintendents of Customs were affected.
Officers were promoted to the ranks of Air Vice Marshal and Air Commodore.
Customs says the officers are among 44 senior officers punished for actions capable of compromising national security.
