These journalists, the CPJ said, were “killed in a nexus of corruption, organised crime, extremist groups, and government retaliation."
Daphne Caruana Galizia, 53, who wrote an anti-corruption blog, was killed on October 16, 2017 by a car bomb.
“The government is fully committed to solving the murder … (and) bringing those responsible to justice.”
Investigative journalists around the world have condemned the killing and called for a thorough investigations.
