787 Iranians killed as US/Israel war on Iran enters fourth day 

No less than 787 people have now been killed in the US and Israeli strikes on Iran, Iran’s Red Crescent Society has said.

PREMIUM TIMES earlier reported that the health organisation, similar to the Red Cross, had put the death toll at 201 people, with 747 people injured. 

The number of deaths rose to 550 days after. 

The war, which has entered its fourth day following the US and Israel’s unprovoked attack against Iran on Saturday morning, has affected 153 different counties in the country. 

The Iranian Red Crescent on Tuesday said at least 1,039 attacks have taken place across the country, according to Al Jazeera. 

Among the victims are 13 Iranian soldiers killed in a US-Israeli strike on a military base in Kerman province. 

According to the Iranian army, the attack targeted the base in the south of the country.

Also, five IRGC’s air force and navy operatives have been killed in US-Israeli attacks in the cities of Jam and Dir in the central province of Bushehr.

Meanwhile, Israel’s attack on Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, has been going on for two consecutive days, creating another front in the regional war.

“We have positioned soldiers in additional points on the border area to defend our civilians, to prevent Hezbollah from attacking them. 

“This is not a ground operation. This is a tactical measure… to ensure the safety of our people,” Israel’s military spokesman Nadav Shoshani said, according to Al Jazeera.

Hezbollah has also carried out an attack on an airbase in northern Israel.
