Despite the increasing number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria, striking doctors say their strike will continue.
"The strike continues as he that is down needs fear no fall," NARD says.
About four doctors broke down last weekend due to stress.
On Wednesday, a government delegation led by labour minister Chris Ngige met with the doctors to avert the strike.
The doctors threatened to commence an ‘indefinite strike’ on Thursday if the Nigerian government fails to meet their demands.
The doctors are demanding, amongst other things, payment of all salaries arrears.
