The EFCC is prosecuting Mr Aliyu alongside his then-chief of staff, Umar Nasko.
Messrs Aliyu, Nasko and Beji, were initially arraigned before Justice Aliyu Maiyaki in 2017 for the charges.
The judge also ordered the politician to produce two sureties in like sum.
