The man deported to Nigeria is banned from entering Germany for life.
The Nigerians were deported from Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Luxembourg, Austria, Belgium, Spain and Hungary.
Italy in February deported 33 Nigerians.
The deportees were made up of 95 males and two females.
The government said in a statement that it expected some of the migrants would return of their own accord.
