President Donald Trump said the US will not stop military strikes on Iran without an “unconditional surrender.”
According to him, the Iranian leadership must fully surrender to the US to end the war.
His demands also included the selection of an “acceptable leader.”
“We and many of our wonderful and very brave allies and partners will work tirelessly to bring Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than ever before,” he said.

“Iran will have a great future. “Make Iran Great Again (MIGA!),” he added.
Mr Trump’s statement followed the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s comment on attempts to initiate talks.
Mr Pezeshkian, some hours earlier, had said “some countries” have initiated mediation efforts to bring an end to the war.
“Let’s be clear: we are committed to lasting peace in the region, yet we have no hesitation in defending our nation’s dignity and sovereignty. Mediation should address those who underestimated the Iranian people and ignited this conflict,” he said.
PREMIUM TIMES reported Mr Trump had said that he needs to be involved in the selection of the next Iranian leader.
He said Iran was only “wasting its time” if it tried to appoint a successor without US involvement.
Mr Trump also stated that he would reject any new Iranian leader who would continue the policies of the previous leadership.
He signed off his Truth Social message by saying “Iran will have a great future” and repeating his often-used “Make Iran Great Again” alternative slogan.
The president also stated that he was not ruling out the deployment of ground forces in Iran if necessary.
But the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, on Thursday, said Tehran is ready for a potential ground invasion by American troops.

“We are waiting for them because we are confident that we can confront them, and that would be a big disaster for them,” he said.
Mr Trump’s comments come amidst the ongoing war launched by the US and Israel against Iran.
Over 1, 200 Iranians have been killed in the war.
At least six American soldiers have been killed, while Israel has confirmed 11 deaths from Iranian attacks.
