Relatives of singer Ifunanya Nwangene, known professionally as Nanyah Music, have announced arrangements for her final rites following her recent passing.
The Abuja-based artiste died on 31 January after a cobra bit at bit Abuja residence. She was taken to the hospital for emergency care, but did not survive.
Her brother, Kingsley Nwangene, disclosed the burial schedule on Instagram on Monday, posting the funeral programme along with a brief farewell message.

The family said a service of songs will take place on 10 February at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Abule Oshun, Dansa, Lagos, with a requiem mass scheduled later the same evening.
Interment is planned for 14 February in her hometown in Enugu State, with a thanksgiving service on 15 February.

Nanyah first gained wider recognition after competing in the third season of The Voice Nigeria, where her performances drew viewers’ attention. She also sang with the Abuja Metropolitan Music Society Choir and was preparing to release new material before her death.

Her passing has prompted tributes from fellow musicians and members of the creative community, many of whom described her as an emerging talent. The circumstances of her treatment after the snakebite also sparked debate online. The Federal Medical Centre in Abuja stated that anti-venom was administered as part of efforts to save her.
