The workers had accused the management of corruption and petitioned the EFCC.
The petitioners accused the vice chancellor of misappropriation of funds and abuse of office.
Two bills with similar intentions were harmonised.
"Since the inception of the whistleblower programme in 2011, the SEC has awarded more than $67 million to 29 whistleblowers."
