Crude oil theft has become one of the prevalent crimes around Nigeria’s coastal areas.

The Director of Information, Nigerian Navy, Adedotun Ayo-Vaughan, made this known in a statement on Monday in Abuja.

“The crude oil was to be cooked (refined) and loaded into boats or barges before we raided the market.”
