The operations of the airline were shut down by aviation unions over alleged non-payment of staff salaries since April.
The airline appealed to its passengers whose travel plans were disrupted by the picketing carried out by aviation unions.
The unions said the strike would continue indefinitely, until their demands were met by the management of Arik Air.
Arik Air will be operating separate flights from Abuja to Kano and Yola.
