The victim, who was said to be residing on Adesagbon Street, off Okhoro Road, Egor Local Government Area, was reportedly attacked shortly after the site’s power handler opened the entrance.
Sources said that the technician contacted the person responsible for the site’s power supply at about 3 p.m. to gain access to the facility.

However, shortly after the entrance was opened, three dogs reportedly charged at Mr Taiwo and attacked him before their owner, identified as Ughanlunen Sandra, intervened.
His cries for help reportedly attracted neighbours, who joined efforts to rescue him from the dogs.
He was said to have been subsequently taken to a nearby hospital, where he received emergency treatment for injuries, including a wound to his head.

Confirming the incident, Eno Ikoedem, the spokesperson for the police command in Edo, said the dog owner was arrested following a formal complaint by the victim.
“As the door was opened, about three dogs attacked him before the owner, Ughanlunen Sandra, arrived at the scene,” Ms Ikoedem, an assistant superintendent of police, said.
The police spokesperson said the victim sustained a head injury, adding that an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack had commenced.
She cautioned dog owners and breeders to exercise adequate control and supervision over their animals to prevent attacks and protect members of the public.
