In a move to bolster agricultural productivity and combat rising costs, Governor Dauda Lawal has approved the release of N396 million for the procurement of fertilizer under the Federal Government’s Special Intervention Programme.
The funding will cover 12,000 bags of NPK fertilizer, with each bag subsidized at a rate of N33,000. This initiative is designed to alleviate the financial burden on farmers and directly support increased food production across the state.
