In many ways, Afrilition is a system of prophetic affirmations built on priorities and processes towards their realisation. It is a combat against centuries of indoctrination into inferiority and the daily practice of toxic competitiveness that benefits a minority, to the perpetual detriment of a majority. A world built on mental models constructed with tissues of manifest lies that cannot bear basic scrutiny. How is Africa, which remains the home of the wide spectrum of human genetic variation, which is unreplicated anywhere else, reduced to a race or even one people, despite this being expressed in the widest cultural variation known to humanity?
How do fewer than five Eurasian colonial tongues replace the largest variety of indigenous languages known to humanity as official languages of communication? Anyone who explores these dimensions of the treatment and expressions of the African continent critically, along with the regular exploitation and condescension of even multilateral organisations, could end up with lifetimes of correcting these deep forms of distorted reality. In Afrilition, there is a better and more effective focus.

Any future that is spent in responding to the perceived or real injustices of the current colonial and extractive system that drives the current world will distract from the creative process of designing the kinds of systems that nourish and prosper African lives. These newer systems for African prosperity will also be an alternative to the current world approach that survives on conquest and hierarchy, making us domestic and international others whose human reduction makes it legitimate to treat our lives as disposable for the comfort of the ‘chosen ones’.
Afrilition means that over the next two generations, before the end of the 21st Century, the African world must once again renew humanity away from the destructive death march that rewards a few over the multitudes. It does this by refocusing attention away from just reaction to injustice. It defines the direction of our intentions. It refines the composition and probability of our creation. It guides and projects the discipline of production. Afrilition then guides the awareness of our Fruition.
The variation that the African continent carries, unrivalled, makes us the Trustees of the wider essence of humanity, both genetically and culturally. In Afrilition, this is not an argument for supremacy but an enlightenment about responsibility and the establishment of a system of accountability for the future that no African can cast aside. This responsibility means that once you see and accept this perspective, you will invest your energy beyond amassing material things, unfortunately, in a gaudy representation of wealth, but in building communities for elevating the collective human worth, especially for future generations to thrive.

At its core is to move the African world beyond distraction and diversion towards building with purpose and focus. It replaces the distortion of manufactured inferiority with the celebration of creation and contribution.

As we move deeper into the 21st century, we must learn the lessons of the events and patterns within these past nearly three decades of the century so far. The lessons of an unaccountable hegemony, of a pandemic foretold to destroy us, of governance of freedom becoming prisons of winner-takes-all. Tomorrow is promised to no one but only those who are brave enough to dream possibilities stand any chance before those who will impose their nightmares on us all. So for prosperity to our posterity, there is Afrilition.
