Nigerian singer and songwriter Oludipe “Spyro” David has announced his engagement to Janet Atom.
The “Who Is Your Guy” hitmaker revealed the news on his Instagram page on Friday, sharing photos of himself with his fiancée.
Spyro, 34, disclosed that he met Atom, a makeup artist, on 30 March 2024, in an unexpected place.
The “Only Fine Girl” crooner wrote, “On the 30th of March 2024, my world paused as I found love in an unexpected place at exactly 2:48 a.m.

“I met the answer to my prayers, Janet Atom, in a Lagos Club while at work, and from then till now, I have lived every single day a very happy man. Thank you for saying yes, my sweet J. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
In September 2024, the “Billing” crooner in an Instagram post urged men to prioritise caring for their partners rather than chasing external distractions.

He emphasised that true beauty resides within the relationship and encouraged men to remain committed to their partners.
According to him, nothing outside is worth jeopardising the love and connection they share.
“Guys tush up your girl, invest in her heavy, love up on her and you will realise she is finer than these girls outside. There were some girls I admired from afar before stardom, but could not get access to. I got access now and realised it was just a facade.

“The grass is not greener on the other side; it only looks so because you are staring from afar. Nothing dey outside, keep your woman,” he added.
Jesus’ baddie
This newspaper learnt that in a January 2024 interview with Hip TV, Spyro revealed that he preferred a partner who knows God but is also a ‘baddie’.
The singer, who rose to fame with his November 2022 hit single Who Is Your Guy, added that his ideal partner must dress elegantly and speak confidently.
He said, “My spec is a Jesus’ baddie. That’s my spec: Know God but be a baddie. Don’t be mediocre because you know God. Dress well and speak well. Do those things that bad girls do, but do it for your husband alone.”
Spyro began his musical journey at a very young age, starting in the church choir before launching his professional music career in 2017.
