Popular skit maker and actor Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, widely known as Sabinus, has clarified the status of his marriage to Ciana Chapman.
Sabinus revealed on Wednesday that his legal marriage to Ms Chapman, contracted in 2023, has ended on mutual grounds, confirming that he remains on good terms with his ex-wife.

While responding to a question about his marital status during a TikTok live session with Nasboi and Carter Efe, the actor confirmed that the marriage ended “peacefully.”
“You asked if I was married. Let me clarify this now, as people are spreading rumours. I am not married; my marriage has ended peacefully,” Chukwuemeka said, emphasising the cordial relationship he maintains with his former spouse.

Despite the end of the marriage, the skit maker affirmed the well-being of his daughter and noted that he continues to maintain a good relationship with Ms Chapman.
Sabinus, who has featured in several Nollywood movies such as ‘Billionaire’s Bride’ and ‘Man of War’, said, “My daughter is doing very well, and her mum and I are on good terms.”
His confirmation brings an end to months of public speculation about his marital status, which persisted despite previous denials from both parties.
In February 2025, Ms Chapman allegedly accused the comedian of infidelity and failure to provide financial upkeep for their daughter.
Queen Mercy
In a similar vein, the former BBNaija housemate, Queen, also addressed her marital status to David Oyekanmi in a now-deleted Instagram comment.
The clarification came on Wednesday, after a curious fan, identified as Makachrist, asked, “Queen, hope you are still married because Asa you are too beautiful to be single”.
The ‘Shine Ya Eyes’ housemate, however, responded to the inquiry, saying, “Single and unavailable”.
This is coming after months of speculation about a possible split, which began in August when she and her husband, Mr Oyekanmi, unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Around the same time, Queen also deleted all her wedding photos and videos from her social media pages.
Queen and Mr Oyekanmi had a whirlwind romance in 2024. They later got engaged and held their traditional, court, and white wedding ceremonies within the same year.
Lordlamba
Meanwhile, before the marriage-end confirmation, the speculation about tension in the TV star’s marriage intensified online after popular skit maker Lordlamba alleged that Queen is his baby mama.
Lord Lamba shared photos of himself with his daughter, Princess Keilah, asserting that he is the father of the child with the former Big Brother BBNaija star.
Queen, on the other hand, acknowledged that she is the child’s mother and frequently celebrated her daughter publicly, including during her marriage to David.
