The group managing director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was grilled for over one hour, 20 minutes, the longest for any ministerial nominee in the senate.
As expected, all of the questions thrown at him centred on the Nigerian oil sector and his six-week tenure as boss of the NNPC. And he did not disappoint.
