“On recoveries, we are being extremely conservative; what is in the budget is what we know about already.”
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday signed the N7.44 trillion budget into law.
The minister also said “Nigeria is coming out of recession.”
“It is not wrong to use the recovered loot to finance the 2017 budget."
“In some jurisdictions like the UK, proceeds of crime are further used to strengthen the agency," the EFCC chairman said.
The form 48 contempt suit, the organisation says, was filed at the Federal High Court, Lagos last week
"Where a decision to withhold information is taken, the government must inform the plaintiff of its reason."
