The minister indicated that only north-eastern Nigeria faces such a threat.

Norway made the largest pledge of about $192 million.
The three other countries are Somalia, South Sudan and Yemen.
"Food insecurity during 2017 will be driven primarily by three factors," the report stated.
“The risk of famine in inaccessible areas of Borno State will remain high over the coming year."
"If care is not taken, Nigeria could face a famine by January."
