It took two days but world No.1 tennis player, Novak Djokovic, has been knocked out of Wimbledon in the third round by Sam Query.
The match started on Friday but after the No.28 ranked American went two sets to the good, the game was postponed because of rain.
The rain delay was supposed to give Djokovic the chance to recoup but all he could recoup was the third set as Query battled to win the fourth 7-5.
Djokovic had just set an open era record of 30 consecutive wins in Grand Slams and held all Grand Slam titles – hoping to make it a calendar slam but he has now been knocked out by a player whose best at Wimbledon had been the fourth round in 2008 and 2010.
