Seattle Sounders forward, Obafemi Martins, over the weekend proved why it is not out of place for him to still be considered a member of the Super Eagles squad as he scored two goals in the MLS.
The two goals for Martins not only helped his team to a 4-2 victory but it also etched the name of the Nigerian striker in the sands of history as he became the only player in history to score more than 14 goals in a season for Sounders.
Currently, Martins is on his 15th goal and nothing suggests that he is done scoring since he has couple of games still left for the season.
