After churning out breathtaking performances for Chelsea week-in-week-out, Victor Moses has declared that it is time for him to focus on Nigeria.
Moses is expected to join the Super Eagles camp in Abuja as he finally gets set to return for national team assignment having skipped the last game away to Zambia owing to an injury claim.
The fleet-footed forward, who has been deployed as a wing-back under Chelsea Coach, Antonio Conte, said he is fired up for Saturday’s 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Algeria.
“After a great result on Saturday for Chelsea now it’s time to focus on #Nigeria. Can’t wait for the game against Algeria this Saturday,” the Chelsea star wrote on his official twitter handle @VictorMoses on Monday.
Many will be pleased with the importance Moses seems to attach to Saturday’s game against the Desert Foxes.
Already, players have been trickling into the Eagles camp in Abuja as preparation gets underway for the must win game against the North Africans.
Aside the earlier reported arrival of the quartet of Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi and goalkeepers Daniel Akpeyi and Ikechukwu Ezenwa, PREMIUM TIMES understands that the trio of Ogenyi Onazi, Odion Ighalo and Musa Muhammed have also arrived in Abuja.
