Dennis celebrates Eagles’ cap with a rasping effort
Super Eagles’ newly capped forward, Club Brugge’s Emmanuel Dennis, celebrated his call-up with a goal as Club Brugge beat Cercle Brugge in a local derby.
The 21-year-old scored his team’s second goal on the hour and it was a rasping shot from an acute angle.
It was Dennis’ second league goal in five league appearances. Club Brugge are second on the table with 14 points from six games – a point behind Sporting Charleroi, who have 15 points from seven matches.
Akpom gets second league goal
Former Arsenal striker, Chuba Akpom, continued his good showing in the Greece league with another goal last weekend.

The 23-year-old scored the first goal in the 17th minute in a game that ended 3-2 in favour of PAOK away to Atromitos.
It was Akpom’s second league goal in three appearances; he may never score an easier one. PAOK are perfect in the league with three wins out of three.
Ajayi celebrates Eagles’ return with first league goal
Super Eagles’ utility player, Semi Ajayi, scored his first league goal for his new club, West Brom to take a share of the points away to Fulham.
The central defender was on hand to head in the ball after Fulham’s goalkeeper had made a hash of a corner kick. The goal came 10 minutes to the end of the encounter.
The Baggies are sixth on the table with 13 points from their first seven games.
Onuachu scores first league goal in Belgium
Paul Onuachu scored his first goal for his new club, Genk last weekend but it was futile as they lost 1-2 away to league leaders, Sporting Charleroi.
Having gone two goals down in three first half minutes, the gangling striker halved the deficit in the 61st minute with a diving header. Genk are ninth on the table with 10 points from their first seven games.
