Another Nigerian, Moses Simon, will be playing in the Spanish La Liga in the new season.
The latest entrant to the league on Monday completed a move from Belgian club, KAA Gent to modest side Levante UD.
Having passed the routine medical checks, Moses signed a five-year deal with his new club.
The 23-year-old winger was earlier linked with a move to Liverpool but has now pitched his tent with the Spanish side.
The latest move for Moses may be seen as his biggest move so far having joined Slovakia club, AS Trencin in 2014 from GBS Academy and scored 13 goals in 33 league appearances in his one season at the club.
The pacy winger joined Gent the following season where he scored 21 goals in 108 league appearances.
Moses sorely missed out on a place in Nigeria’s squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia due to an injury cupped in the latter stages of the preparations for the Mundial.
