The Super Eagles of Nigeria will Saturday get underway their quest to stage a comeback to the Africa Cup Nations after missing out on two sucessive editions on the bounce.
The Eagles are starting out against perennial foes South Africa who are beginning to prove as hard nuts to crack.
Even though, the Super Eagles have never lost any competitive game to the Bafana Bafana it must be said that they have settled for draws in the last three meetings between the two sides.
Saturday’s game is perfectly poised as Nigeria have enjoyed the best of preparations going into the Group B encounter.
Both camps have been talking tough but the scores will have to settled on the pitch and the venue is the lush green Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
