Alex Iwobi was denied action at Wembley on Saturday but he was part of the celebration as Arsenal emerged champions of the FA Cup, beating 10-man Chelsea at the Wembley stadium.
Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey were the goal scorers for the Gunners as the solitary goal from Diego Costa could not save the day for the double-chasing Blues.
It was not a dream final for the other Nigerian Victor Moses as he was sent off in the FA Cup final after he received a second booking in the match.
The 26-year old was heading towards goal when he appeared to have been upended inside the Arsenal box but television replays showed he dived and referee Anthony Taylor got the decision correctly as he showed the Nigeria international a second yellow and then a red card.
At the end it was a thrilling climax for Arsenal who claimed their 13th FA Cup triumph thus becoming the most successful team in the competition.
It is also worthy to note that Arsenal won seven of their FA Cup titles under Arsene Wenger and the French man is the most successful manager in the cup competition.
