Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, on Saturday officially played his first game in the German Bundesliga as he featured for Wolfsburg in their home game against Borussia Monchengladbach.
The long wait for the gangling striker ended when he was brought in as a 59th-minute replacement for Paul-Georges Ntep.
While there was no debut goal for the Nigerian youngster, Osimhen was booked in the 89th minute for a foul.
It had been expected that Osimhen will make his debut last week but he was an unused sub in his team’s 2-0 road win at Eintracht Frankfurt.
