Diego Costa scored the only goal of the game as Chelsea secured a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace in the early kickoff in the Premier League on Saturday.
The solitary strike from Costa, which is the 50th he has scored as Chelsea player, has handed the Blues a massive nine-point advantage at the summit of the EPL table.
Saturday’s derby win is the 11th straight win for Coach Antonio Conte’s team.
Nigerian winger Victor Moses was also in action, playing for 79 minutes before being replaced by Brian Ivanovic.
With this latest win, Moses and his teammates have equaled the club record of winning 11 games on the bounce and will now hope to set a new record when they face AFC Bournemouth in the next round of games on Boxing Day.
