Chelsea vs. Tottenham @Stamford Bridge @6:30pm on Nov.26

There is bad blood between these two teams, exacerbated by May’s battle on the bridge, where Tottenham had their league-winning dreams dashed by a late Eden Hazard goal. The Lilywhites were dumped out of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday as manager, Mauricio Pochettino, seemed to prioritize the game against Chelsea by resting Kyle Walker and Jan Vertonghen.

Chelsea, on the other hand are top of the table and on a six-match winning run that has produced 17 goals without conceding any. In their last two home games, they have scored nine goals – a fact that Spurs must be very wary of. It promises to be another enthralling London derby.

Kenya vs. Nigeria @ Omnisports Ahmadou Ahidjo @7pm on Nov.26

Since 1991, the Falcons have only ever lost four matches at the Nations Cup and are nine-time champions. Currently, the Falcons are ranked 37th in the world, No.1 in Africa, while their opponents, Kenya, are ranked a lowly 132nd in the world and 25th in Africa – a stat that points in the direction of the likely winner of the contest.

The Falcons are almost through to the second round but need a good victory to confirm their first place position.

This match against the Kenyans is the first ever in the women’s game and it could turn out to be a jackpot of goals for a player like Asisat Oshoala, who already has six goals in her kitty.

Current Form: Kenya [L-L]; Nigeria [D-W]

Head to head

They have never met in women’s football

Prediction: Nigeria 4-0 Kenya

Sociedad vs. Barcelona @San Sebastian @8:45pm on Nov.27

Last time out, a certain Carlos Kameni thwarted all Barca attacks and they had to settle for a 0-0 result, but that was without Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. Both players will be back in the line-up that hopes to keep the gap between them and Real Madrid to just the four points going into next weekend’s El Clasico. But Sociedad have been good this season, and are just four points adrift of Barca and a four-match winning run under their belt. This could become a struggle but Messi-led Barca should nick this.

Current Form: Sociedad [W-W-W-W-L]; Barcelona [D-W-L-W-L]

Head to head

09/04/16     PRD   Sociedad       1 – 0   Barcelona

28/11/15     PRD   Barcelona    4 – 0   Sociedad

09/05/15     PRD   Barcelona    2 – 0   Sociedad

Inter Milan vs. Fiorentina @San Siro @9pm on Nov.28

Inter can’t seem to shake their bad form at the moment even though they fought back to take a 2-2 against AC Milan last weekend. Away to Hapoel Be’er Sheva on Thursday, they let a two-goal lead slip and fell to a damaging 3-2 defeat in the Europa League.

New manager, Stefano Pioli must gather these players and refocus their minds on the task at hand. Meanwhile, Fiorentina have steadily climbed the table and now sit in eighth place, two points ahead of Inter and on a five-match unbeaten run.

Current Form: Inter [L-D-W-L-L-]; Fiorentina [W-D-W-W-D]
