Nigerian players in the English Premier League had a good outing on Saturday with Ahmed Musa even finding the back of the net.
Musa scored the equalising goal as Leicester City forced Tottenham Hotspur to a 1-1 draw at the White Hart Lane.
Vincent Janssen opened scoring for Spurs from the spot in the first half before the Nigeria international brought the Foxes level just after the break.
In the other games with a high level of Nigerian interest, Alex Iwobi was in action as Arsenal mauled Sunderland 4-1 at the Stadium of Light.
Iwobi lasted 69th minutes on the pitch before he gave way for Olivier Giroud who proved to be a good sub, scoring two goals for the Gunners.
At the Hawthorns, Kelechi Iheanacho’s Manchester City ended their six-match winless run as they thumped West Brom 4-0.
The win was enough to keep Manchester City at the top of the EPL table at least for another week.
At the Vicarage Road, Odion Ighalo’s goals drought continued but his team Watford FC squeezed out a 1-0 win over Hull City.
