Club football makes a return and this weekend marks the visit of Liverpool to London under new manager, Jurgen Klop, followed by Louis Van Gaal embarking on another daunting journey to face a fast-improving Everton side.
In the Bundesliga, Bayern will be hoping for history to repeat itself as they confront Werder Bremen at the Weserstadion while in Italy, Fiorentina test their table-topping credentials against a free-scoring Napoli team while Juventus will hope to continue their league resurgence against Inter Milan at the San Siro. Take time out to watch these matches and your weekend could just be a more fulfilling one.
Tottenham v Liverpool
Jurgen Klopp’s reign as Liverpool manager begins away to Tottenham Hotspur, lunch time on Saturday. Their last two visits to the Lane have fetched the Merseysiders eight goals with none conceded, so there won’t be any palpable fear for this visit even though Klopp does not have the legs of Christian Benteke, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez and Roberto Firmino to call on. Spurs have not lost in the league since the opening day defeat to Manchester United and are in good form.

Everton v Man. United
United must not repeat their first 19 minutes against Arsenal this season and will be hoping to bounce back with a good result against an Everton side that is beginning to show promise of finishing in the top six. Everton’s top scorer, Romelu Lukaku will be out to continue his good form by scoring for a third consecutive match adding to the five he already has.

Werder Bremen v Bayern Munich
There is already a 17-point gap between these two sides and over their last five encounters, Bayern have scored 28 goals and conceded just three.
Add the fiery form of Robert Lewandowski to the equation and you expect another hammering this weekend. So the question really is not about the result but by how many goals Bayern could score.

Napoli v Fiorentina
The two most in-form teams in Serie A, Napoli and Fiorentina, will battle it out at the noisy Stadio San Paolo as the Partenopei seek to continue their good run against Fiorentina , the current table toppers.
Napoli’s 4-3-3 formation has fetched 16 goals in seven matches with Lorenzo Insigne and Gonzalo Higuain, on five goals apiece but against Paolo Sousa’s 3-4-2-1 set-up, they could find spaces to profit from at a premium.
