All is not well with the Chadian national team who will face the Super Eagles in an African Cup of Nations qualifying match at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Saturday.
It was gathered that the players of the Chad team are disgruntled as officials were yet to offset arrears of their CEMAC Cup win in Paris few days ago.
Aside the monetary issues said to be tearing the team apart, the Chadian delegation also complained about the accommodation interestingly reserved for them by their advance party who have been in town since the beginning of the week.
Reservations were made at the popular Hamdala Hotel but the team refused same before finally settling for the Asaa Hotel secured with the help of the NFF.
There will be more trouble for the Chadians as they also discovered that their training equipment and kits had been left behind by the airline in Europe.
The embarrassing development forced officials of the team to go shopping for training equipment in time for their only pre-game training session at the match venue on Friday afternoon.
Having gone through much hassles, some feel that would count against them when they file out against the Super Eagles who are fired up to hit the ground running in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers having failed to make it in 2015 to Equatorial Guinea.
