The Head Coach of Taraba Football Club, Tony Ogaradukwu, has assured Nigerians that the club will bounce back after suffering three straight loses in the six weeks old league.
In a chat with journalists on Sunday, the Coach said there was no cause for alarm as his team was recovering from the three-week long break.
“You can see that we have been out of the programme for about three weeks and now we are using the matches to recover. And you can see from the matches that we have played, we are improving by each day,” he said.
“I want to assure our fans that there’s no cause for alarm because if you have problem and you don’t know the genesis of the problem, you won’t know where to start from. We will bounce back,” he boasted.
FC Taraba’s last defeat was against League defending champion, Kano Pillars, whom they lost 2-1 to in Kano. The Coach said it was expected.
“Losing to Kano Pillars and Enyimba, you think it is expected. There’s no big club or small club. It is from beating the giant that makes you big for a match that matters. There’s no team that’s unbeatable in the world,” he said.
FC Taraba has dropped to the 10th spot on the League table.
