The U-23 National Team, Dream Team VI, are through to the final round of qualifiers for the Men’s Football Tournament of the 11th All-Africa Games, after a 2-0 win over Gabon’s U-23 side in Abuja on Saturday.
The Gabonese team put up a better performance to upstage their host but were unlucky to lose again on Saturday having also lost the first leg 4-1 in Libreville.

Speaking after the match, Head Coach of the Team, Samson Siasia, who seemed unimpressed with his team’s performance, said he will work on the lapses noticed in his team.
“There are lapses, I agree and I will make sure we work on it as soon possible before our next match with Zambia,” he said.
“They had and created more chances than us, we will fix the team before going anywhere,” he assured.
