The Sunshine Stars chairman, Mike Idoko, has resigned from the club after five years of service.
He disclosed to journalists that he had to resign because his contract with the club was not renewed when it expired and his next destination would be revealed soon.
“I have resigned from Sunshine and in the near future, I will disclose my next destination,” said Mr. Idoko.
The former Nigeria Premier League board member worked as the director technical and administration at the Ondo State Football Agency [OSFA] for five years.
Mr. Idoko double as chairman of Sunshine Stars and OSFA Director.
He led the team to the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup and Champions League in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
He worked in the past as General Manager of Warri Wolves and Lobi Stars FC of Benue State, his state of origin.
