U-20 quarter final, match goes to extra time.

Despite having the better ball possession, Nigerian U-20 women team are yet to score a goal after 90 minutes against Mexico.

The Falconets dominated the match and had more shots at goal than their Mexican counterparts. The Mexican goalkeeper made several excellent saves to deny the Nigerian attack led by Oparanozie a goal.

30 minutes of extra time will now be played.

 

The first half of the quarter final match between Nigeria and Mexico has ended with no goal scored.

The match is the first of the four quarter finals of the FIFA U-20 Women’s world cup taking place in Japan.

The Falconets had several shots at goal but were denied by the Mexican goalkeeper. A fierce shot in the 37’ by Oparanozie also hit the cross bar.
