It will be a tough game when Heartland FC of Owerri meets Lobi Stars for the final match of the Federation Cup

Heartland FC of Owerri, Wednesday evening, defeated Prime FC 3-0 via penalty kicks to secure a place in the 2012 Federation Cup final.
Lobi Stars is the other team that qualified for the finals after seeing off Pillars 5-4 (penalties) in the other semifinal match.
The Markurdi based team, who are also in the contention to win the domestic league title were over-joyous after the victory recorded at the U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar, Wednesday evening.
Lobi scored all five kicks from the penalty spot but the Pyramid Boys faltered in their last kick to let go one of the titles they had their eyes
on all season.
To make it to this stage, Lobi emerged as group leaders at the dreaded Bauchi Center that had Enyimba, Warri Wolves and Samba FC.
The Coach john Zaki tutored side then went on to dispatch Sharks of Port Harcourt in the quarter finals.
On their part, Heartland put an end to the giant killing run of Prime FC, defeating them 3-0 also in a penalty shoot out in the other semi final played at the Ilorin Township stadium.
Regulation time ended goalless, as both sides showed their determination to play in the final match billed for Lagos on Sunday.
Lower division side, Prime proved the worst in penalty shootout as they could not score any of their kicks.
Sheriff Ashanike, Sunday Taiwo and Abdulahi Fatai all lost their kicks for Prime.
Substitute goal keeper, Chjioke Ejiogu aka arugo monkey was the hero for the Naze Millionaires, as he halted the kicks by the players of Prime.
While Heartland are the reigning champions, Lobi won the Federation Cup then called the Challenge Cup in 2003. Both will be looking for another win when the finals comes up at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos on Sunday.
