About 84 top Nigerian coaches, including the entire technical crew of the Super Eagles led by Stephen Keshi, have registered for the CAF/NFF License B course that informally began on Monday at the FIFA Goal Project Technical centre in Abuja.
The course which will be formally declared open on Tuesday by the president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Aminu Maigari is being coordinated by the quartet of Adegboye Onigbinde, James Peters, Paul Hamilton and Amodu Shuaibu.
Some of the early birds amongst the participating coaches are Daniel Amokachi, Ike Shorunmu, Sylvanus Okpala, Charles Bassey, Niyi Akande, Godfrey Esu, Dan Evumena, Ladan
Bosso, John Obuh, Garba Ila, Dr, Sanusi Mohammed, Rolandson Odeh, Bala Nikyu, Austin Eguavoen, Valere and Ntiero Effiong amongst others.
Keshi after registering his presence dashed off to the National Assembly for the public Hearing on the NFA while the course commenced with Chief Onigbinde urging the participants to keep developing themselves as football is dynamic and keep changing
Onigbinde explained that CAF decided to train and badge all coaches in Africa so as to ensure that only qualified coaches handle teams in the continent and called on the Nigerian coaches to embrace refreshers courses.
