Super Eagles player, Steven Ukoh, has said he is studies law while playing active football in Switzerland.
“Actually beside football which is my number one priority I’m studying Law at the university,” he told PREMIUM TIMES in Abuja.
“I saw that as a footballer you have a lot of leisure time and I just wanted to use it wisely. So, I took up study. But I’m not quite sure if I will be a lawyer after my (football) career who knows,” he said.
The Nigerian/Swiss 23-year-old midfielder also said growing up in Switzerland will not affect his quality football delivery for Nigeria.
“Weather is not my problem. I have been here to adapt for over a week now, I will be fine. Remember when we played against Uganda in Uyo, it was hot as well, well I will adapt”.
“I am grateful and happy to be here, I also want to give it my all and I will try to help the team, the first step is Chad and they have a Great side which we want to win,” he said.
Ukoh said he is satisfied with Bien Bienne FC in Switzerland as he is regularly featured.
“On club level, the most important thing is that you are a regular starter and that as a player you play often,” he said.
