The captain of Premier League side, Enyimba, Chinedu Udoji, has said that his team lost to Gabros FC because they did not utilize the chance created.
In an interview with PREMIUM TIMES, the defender, while praising his teammates, said if they had converted their chances, they would have defeated the League Newcomers, Gabros FC, away from home.
“Well we had a good game but all the chances were not well used properly, that was why they defeated us and the truth is that my teammates also tried their best. I will also commend Gabros players too they played well against us,” he explained.
On the next game against Giwa FC, Udoji said his team is preparing to win because there is no pushover in the Nigerian League.
“Giwa FC is coming to our home to play and we are preparing for that game. That team is a tough one and right now in the Nigerian league there is no push over. Every team in the league is proving their worth,” he said.
Enyimba for now is occupying the sixth position with 11 points, Gabros FC is sitting on the second spot with 13 points and Giwa FC tops the league table with 14 points all in seven played matches.
