Siasia invites 5 players to fortify All Africa Games squad

The Head coach of the national U-23 men’s football team, Dream Team VI, Samsom Siasia, on Sunday in Abuja invited five players to forty the Flying Eagles.

The Dream Team VI played a goalless draw in their first leg match with Zambia at the National Stadium, Abuja.

The invited players from the victorious U-20 African Youth Champions in Senegal are to reinforce the team ahead of the crucial return game against Zambia in Lusaka.

In a statement on the Nigeria Football Association website, Siasia said the invited players were expected to arrive in the team’s Febson Hotel camp in Abuja.

The Dream Team will intensify its training for the second leg of the All African Games qualifier against Zambia in two weeks.

The U-23 gaffer added that he intended to invite some foreign-based players to fortify the team in the coming days.

The five invited players are Alampasu Sunday, Bernard Bulbwa, Taiwo Awoniyi, Mustapha Abdullahi and Musa Mohammed.
