Enyeama misses Eagles training ahead of Uganda friendly

The Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama, was the only notable absentee as the Nigerian national team had a training session on Tuesday evening at the International Stadium in Uyo ahead of Wednesday’s friendly match against the Cranes of Uganda.

No official reason was given for Enyeama’s absence even though many had expected that the shot-stopper will be among the early callers in camp since the Uganda game will afford him a milestone 100th cap for Nigeria.

It is yet to be seen how Coach Daniel Amokachi, who currently is handling the Super Eagles, will go about the Enyeama lateness as many suggest he could delay his 100th cap till Sunday in Nelspruit in the game against South Africa.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles dashing winger, Ahmed Musa, is positive he and his other teammates can record a victory over the Cranes of Uganda in Wednesday’s international friendly billed for the ‘Nest of Champions’.
