The Head Coach of the Nigeria U20 male football team, Manu Garba, has said that Dele Alampasu is still a part of his team’s plan despite his current absence in camp.
In a chat with journalists in Abuja on Saturday, the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup winning coach said he is waiting for the shot-stopper to finalise plans with his proposed new club.
“Alampasu is still in our plans but we understand he’s yet to sign his contract and the moment he signs his contracts he can always join us,” he said.
“But if he doesn’t come back before the final provisional registration meaning he will be out of the tournament.”
The 18-year-old Golden Gloves winner at the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup has been linked with a move to Spanish club, Real Oviedo, since his move to Belgium broke down.
